By Our Community, For Our Community

Meet our WHEN authors below. We love partnering with writers from our community to bring you content that is rooted in Scripture and paired with each writer’s unique life experience. If you’re looking to write an article for us, submit your pitch here.

Meet Our Authors

Meet the writers we’ve partnered with and click on their names to navigate to the articles they’ve written. You may recognize some of them as Hosanna Revival staff, or authors of the printed devotionals we’ve published. You may recognize some of them from Instagram, or you may have never heard of them. Our goal is to create a platform to amplify these voices as they mine the Word, looking for the Scripture’s answers to life’s questions. We’re glad you’re here.

Erica spends her days as a consultant and her evenings as a doctoral student, yet her favorite roles are being a daughter, sister, and friend. You can find her yelling, “Roll Tide!” at a television, enjoying a long run, or writing—probably wrapped in a fuzzy blanket. An alumna of the Fulbright Program, she loves traveling and seeing the consistency of God and his love for people throughout the world. YET: The Promise in Habakkuk for Those in Transition is her first published devotional.

I love Jesus and I love His Church. I love writing biblical articles to encourage people in their walk as they follow Jesus. I'm local to Charlotte, and a classically trained violinist, playing for weddings and events in North and South Carolina.

Gabby is a wife and a mother, both biological and through foster-adoption. She has always loved working with children. After college, Gabby worked with children with special needs, focusing on biblical literacy for age- and comprehension-appropriate levels. Foster care has since become her focus, along with adoption advocacy. She and her husband have been foster parents for several years. Gabby enjoys sharing about biblical familial roles, reading books, hosting a book club, fellowshipping, and spending time out in the sunshine with her family and their chickens.

Grace Thomas is a Christ-follower, wife, and mother. When she’s not playing with her son, she serves at her church, and enjoys living in sunny California. Her writing has been featured on Risen Motherhood & Momma Theologian. You can connect with her on her blog, Instagram, or email.

Haley is a public school teacher in the Dallas area, a lover of youth ministry, and a firm believer that a slow morning filled with coffee and Jesus is one of the greatest things on this side of heaven. As a lover of all things cozy, you’ll likely find her grabbing coffee with a high schooler after work or watching a silly television show with her roommates in the evenings. She is also the author of Rooted to Rise, a devotional published by Hosanna Revival.

Haley is an international aid worker, born and raised in Southern California. A lover of slow mornings, deep chats, and the color mustard yellow, her idea of the perfect day starts with too many cups of coffee around the kitchen table with friends and family. Her pipe dreams include owning a dog, visiting an elephant sanctuary, and experiencing an East Coast autumn. Currently living and working in the Middle East, she is passionate about making Christ known in every corner of the world.

Hannah is the customer service and public relations manager at Hosanna Revival. She is currently pursuing her Masters at the University of Akron to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Hannah is a tried and true Enneagram 2 and spends much of her free time finding new ways to empower people in the small and big details of life.

Hannah lives with her husband in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and is currently a senior at Western Kentucky University studying journalism and political science. She is set to graduate with honors in May 2022. She has a passion for sharing how God has worked in her life and how he can work in your life. She also has a passion for petting cats.
